Progress Update: Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Community Cluster

Procure Partnerships Framework contractor partner Galliford Try is currently on-site making great progress on the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts Brand new Community Cluster facility.

The project was secured via the Procure Partnerships North West Framework.

The £15.8m Community Cluster will include new mental health and neurodevelopmental outpatient facilities, a brand new twelve bed specialist inpatient mental health Unit, alongside other cross dependent health services and a therapeutic garden area.

Of recent, the Galliford Try team, including supply chain partner B&K Structures, continue to make excellent advancements on the project with the installation of the CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) panels and Glulam columns with the hybrid steel/timber frame. This phase of the project is due for completion by the end of February with the overall project complete in 2022.


Of recent, Davies Partnerships also joined the scheme after successfully securing the role of MEP Supervisors. Davies Partnerships is appointed to the Procure Partnerships Framework Professional Services Agreement in the North West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and North Wales. 

 

The Community Cluster will be the newest addition to Alder Hey’s growing Campus, The vision is to create “a parkland community for children” that will not only provide top quality care but will help bring patients closer to nature in an overall calm and relaxed environment, beneficial for all those who will use the service.
