Procure Partnerships Framework contractor partner Seddon is currently on-site making great progress at Stockport College, on behalf of The Trafford College Group, with the creation of new teaching areas and refurbishment of existing spaces valued at £7M.
The project was secured via the Procure Partnerships North West Framework.
At present, perimeter hoarding is up on site, the existing foundations have been cut back ready for the new cladding details and erection of the scaffolding, one area is on the footpath and road to enable access to the high-level works, however this does not impede pedestrians or road users.
The steel erectors are currently on site carrying out high level works, Groundworkers, drainage and foundation works.
Internal demolition works have taken place in the tower to remove ceiling grids and floor tiles and the breaking out of a concrete road in order to build the new extension.
