Procure Partnerships Framework Contractor Partners Robertson have recently completed a £2.5m programme of works across multiple Northumbria Healthcare Facilities including Wansbeck General Hospital, North Tyneside General Hospital, Blyth Community Hospital and Alnwick Infirmary.
The project was secured via the Procure Partnerships North East Framework.
This programme of works has provided a much-needed upgrade across each hospital facility. The works consist of the design, installation, and construction of the water tanks, replacement of fire doors, roof repairs, car park maintenance and supply of thermostatic mixing valves across all sites.
Despite the challenges of working across multiple live hospital environments and minor delays to the project all elements of the scheme were delivered to a high standard, with Robertson being praised by our client for their excellent communication and collaborative approach. Robertson also put special measures in place to avoid any disruption to Patients and Staff, such as working additional hours and night shifts.
At present, Procure Partnerships Framework has supported over one hundred healthcare projects on a national level. The framework is designed to support a variety of different projects from minor to major works and is continuing to be an example of best practice for supporting NHS bodies across the country.
Natalie Palframan, Key Account Manager, Procure Partnerships Framework, commented: “I really enjoy working with the team at Northumbria Healthcare to enable these vital improvement works across their multiple hospital sites. Our contractor partner Robertson have delivered a well-organised and controlled programme of works for the Trust and their Patients.”
