Social Value

Social Value is integral to what we do. With a dedicated Social Value Specialist, we support clients and partners in delivering lasting community impact. We require a minimum of 12% social value add on each project, with our contractor partners achieving an average of 26%. By providing the right tools and expertise, we ensure Social Value is embedded in every project, helping you build better futures for your people, spaces and places.

We help organisations create a lasting legacy by embedding Social Value from the outset of the procurement process, offering tailored, strategic support to deliver sustainable, measurable impact.

  1. Set & Lock

We work with you to create a tailored Social Value plan, with bespoke tender questions designed to meet the unique needs of your organisation and community. Through an initial consultation, we'll ensure your priorities are heard, then help you set and lock in a plan that drives real, lasting impact.

  2. Manage

We ensure complete transparency and accountability through regular monitoring and evidence verification via Compliance Chain. Every social value activity is logged, and all supporting evidence is thoroughly checked, so you can be confident that your Social Value plan is being fully committed to as promised at bid stage.

  3. Tailored Support

Your dedicated Social Value advisor will provide ongoing support throughout the entire project lifecycle. With live updates via the Compliance Chain portal, you’ll stay informed every step of the way, ensuring your plan stays on track and delivers meaningful results. Our real-time dashboard allows you to view Social Value progress at a glance, and downloadable reports give you the flexibility to track and share key metrics with ease.

Collaborative Working Groups

Social Value sits at the heart of what we do, underpinned by a commitment to collaboration, where contractors work together to drive real, lasting impact every day.

The Collaborative Working Groups, an initiative created by the Procure Partnerships Framework, unite contractor partners from across regions to drive even greater positive change. This initiative tracks progress beyond individual projects, focusing on shared goals that impact communities at a wider level. In 2024, contractors worked together to deliver 48 initiatives across key themes, including:

Cost of Living, Mental Health, Youth Engagement, SEN Schools, Women in Construction, Employability, Green Spaces, Social/Digital Inclusion, Food Insecurity, Old Person’s Independance, Wellbeing and Donation of Time.

  • Having undertaken a two-stage mini competition via Procure Partnerships within 22-23, I found the process to be very flexible and the framework representatives very supportive and responsive. The two-stage approach worked very well for a complex, high-specification build without a specification/level of detail and the available suppliers within the region/value band submitted robust bids. Capital Procurement Manager, Gloucestershire Shared Service For NHS
