Procure Partnerships Framework Contractor Partner Seddon have handed over phase one of a programme of fit out and refurbishment works at Stockport College, on behalf of our client Trafford College Group.
The project was secured via the Procure Partnerships North West Framework.
The works include a new art building created by modernising the shell of the former arts department and the refurbishment of Vernon Tower to provide brand new teaching facilities. Learning at the college remained unaffected by the works and the scheme completed just in time for the start of the new academic year.
Seddon ensured social distancing and improved hygiene practices on-site to protect workers on the campus, which included five apprentices that were able to gain experience of the construction industry through a redevelopment project.
