Northumbria Healthcare Estate Improvement Works Completed By Robertson With 68% Local Spend

Procure Partnerships Framework Contractor Partners Robertson have completed several improvement works packages across the Northumbria Healthcare Estate on behalf of Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management.

This healthcare project was secured via the Procure Partnerships North East Framework with Robertson awarded under a Direct Award. This project was also monitored via Compliance Chain 

Works were carried out at North Tyneside General Hospital, Wansbeck General Hospital and Blyth Hospital, including:

– Fire door replacements and protection works
– corridor ceiling tiles and lighting
– New water tanks
– Cleaning internal courtyards and external gutters
– Flooring and decoration

These works have provided a vital upgrade to the existing facilities and through continual liaison and collaborative working with the hospital Estates team Robertson have ensured that normal service can continue for both staff and patients. During corridor working hours, Robertson worked night shifts to minimise disruptions. In addition, there has been 68% Local spend within 30 miles of the sites.
