We’ve asked Chris a few questions so you can get to know him better and to see how his first few days have been! If you would like to get in touch with Chris to discuss working with Procure Partnerships Framework in the south He will be happy to hear from you and can be reached by email: chris@procurepartnerships.co.uk or phone: 0752 332 5289

How Have You Found Your First Few Days?

“Brilliant! It’s been great to meet the team and really get into the detail to fully understand what Procure Partnerships do for their clients. There is loads to take in but excited to get going!”

We Are Based in Liverpool. What Is Your Favourite Thing About The City?

“There are so many great things about Liverpool, it’s difficult to pick one thing. I love good food, so it’s been nice to see how the city has developed over the last 10/15 years into a place where you don’t have to look too far to find an amazing selection of places to eat.”

If You Could Be Anyone For A day, Who Would It Be?

“Tiger Woods! I started playing golf when I was 12 years old and at that time, Tiger was just starting out on his journey to world domination! This was a massive inspiration for me to forge my own (short-lived) career as a golf professional, so it would be incredible to spend a day as the best ever!”

Who is Your Favourite Musician?

“Ian McCulloch. I’ve got a pretty eclectic taste in music from; The Smiths, to Johnny Cash and loads of stuff in between, but my go-to songs are always from Heaven up Here by Echo & The Bunnymen”

What Is Your Favourite Place to Eat Out?

“There are so many good places in Liverpool now but Fazenda is definitely top of my list! The quality of the food is incredible and they just keep bringing it. If you go, make sure you are hungry!”

What Are Your Hobbies Outside Of Work?

“After a bit of time away from the sport, I really enjoy playing golf again, I’m a member of Hesketh Golf Club near Southport and try to get out there most weekends. I love cooking and I’m constantly trying to come up with new ways of making my food more interesting. Other than that, I spend the rest of my free time staying up all night with my 19-month old daughter…”

If You Weren’t The Key Account Manager of the South and Could Do Any Other Job In The World What Would It Be?

“I’ve was very lucky to spend nearly 10-years as a golf professional and got to travel quite extensively, but if I could do any other job now, it would be a Sports Agent/Manager. I got to meet quite a lot of these over the years and they seem to have a great life!”

What Future Goals Do You Have?

“I’m very keen to learn more languages. I lived in Austria for several years, so speak German fluently, but would really like to learn Spanish and Italian as well. I’ve also got a very small pipe-dream of playing golf competitively again one day, perhaps when I’m 50 on the seniors tour. In the meantime, I’m keen to make a huge success of my new role at Procure Partnerships and look forward to what the future holds.”

Robbie Blackhurst, Framework Director, Commented: “We are delighted that Chris has joined the Procure Partnerships Framework team to drive further growth across the London and South East regions. Chris has a wealth of experience when working with Public Sector clients and will add real value in advising clients upon procurement and options and process for their projects. Welcome to the team Chris!”
