Procure Partnerships Framework have been working closely with Contractor Partners across our framework to achieve some collaborative social value for each region.
Contractors have come together to form Collaborative Working Groups and our Social Value Manager Lizz Lee has set about facilitating workshops in four regions to co-ordinate how outputs will be achieved.
All of the combined aims and objectives are non-project specific and will see Contractors of different sizes, from different areas, working together for the same goals; to make a positive impact across our regions including: Northwest, East & West Midlands combined, Yorkshire and London.
Procure Partnerships Framework will promote the collective social value add achieved by the groups on a monthly basis. Over the course of a year, we will see circa 48 initiatives in line with the themes set for the groups in April 2022.

The Regional groups are made up of sub-groups, who will work together in delivering their 2x allocated themes for the year.
All workshops were facilitated at Social Enterprises in each region as opposed to larger chain hotels, with all catering provided by local suppliers to the venue. The groups consist of:
Northwest: 28 Contractors, Gallery; Oldham
Louise Seddon, Social Impact Advisor, Graham: “Procure Partnership Framework’s regional collaborative working group-CWG launch has been awe-inspiring and perfectly timed with the re-introduction of face-to-face engagement. The simple, yet effective themed annual calendar shared across all regions gives framework partners the scope to collaborate, share and create best practice and the opportunity to make a real difference together!”
East & West Midlands Combined: 16 Contractors, 200 degrees; Birmingham
Phil Eves, Education Coordinator, BAM Construction: “I have always advocated working in partnership with other contractors to share the load when it comes to delivering social value as everyone has different strengths and by setting contractors goals to achieve social value collaboratively, we are able to provide a better offer of support to communities through events like GirlTechWM, which targets potential women in construction professional careers”.
Yorkshire: 19 Contractors, Zest Centre; Sheffield
Jack Kidder, Responsible Business Manager, Henry Boot: “We are proud to be working with Procure to collaborate with fellow contractors to share knowledge, ideas and passion to create meaningful social value for the communities we work alongside in Yorkshire”
London: 17 Contractors, Brigade Bar & Kitchen; Tower Bridge
Syed Naeem, Director, Cosmur: “The workshop was well structured and planned. It truly encouraged collaboration between Framework Contractors and the sharing of innovative ideas, promoting Social Value and making a real difference within the communities we work within.”
Plans are in place and activities have already begun from East & West Midlands combined including; Burmor Construction, BAM Construct UK and Galliford Try. As well as a Northwest sub group; Whitfield Brown, Warden, Wates and Willmott Dixon.
Lizz Lee, Social Value Manager, Procure Partnerships Framework: “It is really fantastic to see Contractors come together and share best practice when it comes to Social Value. The shared enthusiasm and outputs from the groups already have been a example of how with that bit of added value, aside from project specific work that is contractually bound, Contractors can make meaningful positive impacts in the regions in which they operate.”
All groups have added to the Procure Partnerships Social Value Schedule and we look forward to sharing this over the coming months.
