We are delighted to announce that Procure Partnerships Framework has become a Social Value Pioneer with the help of Social Value UK.
Social Value UK is the professional body for social value and impact management. Social Value UK does this through standardising practice through the Principles of Social Value, brokering relationships and encouraging cross-sectoral collaboration, encouraging further accountability for impact, building a community of practitioners and encouraging innovation.
Social Value UK was established to embed the core principles for social value measurement and analysis, to refine and share practice, and to build a powerful movement of like-minded people to influence policy. Social Value UK supports, connects, and represents its members through training, knowledge-sharing and networking.
Social Value is at the heart of everything that we do at Procure Partnerships Framework, and we measure ourselves and our partners against the sustainability of our Social Value activities. Our Social Value activities will never be tokenistic and must leave a lasting legacy with either individuals or upon communities. This is strictly governed at a framework level.
To maximise this benefit, we work closely with public sector customers to understand any local initiatives the construction works could support and develop a bespoke project social value plan. Social Value is managed and tracked via the Nationally across the framework and the areas of focus include creating employment opportunities, reducing inequalities for disadvantaged people, improving skills for local people, and increasing opportunities for SMEs.
Our framework Partners also meet on a six-monthly basis to collectively set social value objectives across all projects. Joining forces in this way achieves much more value for the community than would be achieved working independently.
