Midas Celebrate Huge Milestone at the University of Southampton’s Science Park Engineering Centre

Procure Partnerships Framework Contractor Partner Midas have successfully hit a huge milestone in the development of the brand-new Science Park Engineering Centre on behalf of the University of Southampton.

The project was secured via the Procure Partnerships South East Framework.

Midas have completed the high point of the new steel frame and were joined by project partners, guests, and representatives from the University of Southampton on the site to celebrate the milestone moment.

Once complete, The Engineering Centre will become an innovative hub, delivering a joint industry-academic Centre of Excellence. It will bring together cutting-edge ideas, commercial expertise, and state-of-the-art research laboratories. The centre will positively impact the local community by creating opportunities for collaboration between the Science Park and Local Businesses.

Building works commenced on the Engineering Centre in November 2020 and is due for completion early 2022.
