Progress Update: Kidbrooke Health and Wellbeing Centre  

Procure Partnerships Framework Contractor Partners Morgan Sindall and Overbury are progressing well on a programme of New Build works with the construction of a Health and Wellbeing centre in the heart of the Kidbrooke development, on behalf of framework user Royal Borough of Greenwich and Greenwich CCG.

This healthcare project was secured via the Procure Partnerships London Framework with Morgan Sindall and Overbury appointed under a single stage call off procedure.

The facility will bring together GP services, including minor ops facilities, alongside community spaces for yoga, baby groups, meetings and more. The project involves the construction of treatment and consultation rooms, associated staff, welfare, extensive toilet, and shower facilities. A central reception with waiting and café areas will also be provided, along with multi-use rooms, including a dance studio with sprung flooring.

Although there have been several challenges such as limited loading bay/delivery areas for materials, works taking place in a busy residential area and complicated logistics within the car park area the team continue to to expertly delivery the scheme.

The project is due to complete in Summer 2022.
