At Bradford Royal Infirmary, a major investment in renal services is now underway, bringing together the Trust, design team, and Robertson Construction to create a modern facility that will support patients and clinical teams for years to come.
This projects was procured via the Procure Partnerships Yorkshire Construction Framework.

Robertson has commenced the £4.4m reconfiguration of the Renal Dialysis Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary, relocating the service back to its former lower ground floor location and transforming the space into a modern, patient-focused environment.
The framework enabled early contractor engagement, allowing Robertson to work collaboratively with the Trust and design team from an early stage. This is particularly valuable given the complexity of delivering specialist healthcare facilities within a live hospital. The scheme includes HTM-compliant ventilation systems, a relocated water treatment plant with backup capacity, and a new extension to accommodate plant and ancillary spaces.
An initial social value target of 12% has been set, and the team has committed to delivering in excess of £2.3m, significantly exceeding baseline requirements from the outset.
