Neonatal Home from Home Accommodation | Bradford Teaching Hospitals | F Parkinson
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has selected F Parkinson to deliver an expansion of their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, one of only four Level 3 NICUs in Yorkshire, currently comprising 31 cots.
This new build scheme will increase the number of available bedrooms, ensuring that every family with a baby admitted to the ICU area of the NICU can stay close to their child during what is an incredibly emotional and challenging time.

Horseshoe Gallery Refurbishment | National Museums Liverpool | Robertson
Contractor partner Robertson has been appointed to reinstate the plaster ceilings within the Horseshoe Gallery of the Walker Art Gallery, a building originally constructed between 1873 and 1877. Works will also include redecoration, alterations to the mechanical and electrical installations, roofing works, and repointing at roof level.
A fantastic opportunity to preserve and restore one of Liverpool’s most cherished cultural spaces.

James Parsons Building Decarbonisation | Liverpool John Moores University | Atkins Realis
Liverpool John Moores University have appointed Atkins Realis to undertake feasibility, design, and survey work across RIBA Stages 0 to 6, with the aim of decarbonising the existing hot water plant while making use of the existing heating boilers.
A great example of a higher education client using the framework to drive forward their sustainability agenda.

Retained Cost Advisor Assurance and Monitoring | University of Salford | Pick Everard
The University of Salford is delivering a major 10-year estate transformation programme underpinned by its ‘Innovating to Enrich Lives’ strategy creating flexible, inclusive, and sustainable spaces for learning, research, enterprise, and community engagement.
Pick Everard has been appointed to provide retained cost advisor assurance and monitoring throughout, supporting the university in removing physical and operational barriers across campus and building a more cohesive, future-ready environment.

Charlton House SEND School & Children’s Homes | Bath and North East Somerset Council | Beard
Beard has been appointed by Bath and North East Somerset Council to refurbish and remodel Charlton House, transforming it into a residential SEND school for young people aged 11 to 18 with complex needs across Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Works will include internal and external modifications to create eight residential bedrooms, two staff bedrooms, and dedicated teaching and administration spaces to support both day and residential placement students.

Devizes Training Centre Refurbishment | Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue | Beard
Beard has also been appointed by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue to deliver works at their Devizes training facility, combining two existing sites into one consolidated base.
Works include the refurbishment and extension of the existing office and facilities building, refurbishment and extension of the fire training building, and new ancillary buildings and associated site works.

Weymouth Training Centre Refurbishment | Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue | Stepnell
Stepnell has been appointed to deliver a parallel package of works at Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue’s Weymouth site, including refurbishment and extension of the existing fire station and the construction of a new fire training building, ancillary buildings, and associated site works.
Together with the Devizes appointment, this represents a significant investment in Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service’s training.

Princes Park SEND School | Liverpool City Council | Morgan Sindall
Liverpool City Council have appointed Morgan Sindall to deliver a £30m+ new build project to relocate Princes Primary SEND School, addressing both the poor condition of the existing building and the need to create additional places for pupils with complex additional needs and disabilities.
The proposed 5,850 sqm building will provide 31 classrooms across four teaching pathways, a central communal zone connecting classrooms with therapy and staff areas, and large community spaces including a school hall and hydrotherapy pools.

Refurbishment of John Haider Building | Herefordshire Council | Speller Metcalfe
Herefordshire Council have selected Speller Metcalfe to carry out the full refurbishment of the John Haider Building, a four-storey property on the corner of Bath Street and Gaol Street in Hereford, containing 28 flats including one-bedroom units and studio apartments to be converted to one-bedroom homes.
The project will bring the building up to current standards, improving safety, energy efficiency, and its long-term suitability as social housing, delivering much-needed homes for the community.

Maternity Triage Unit | University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS | Stepnell
Stepnell has been appointed to fit out and refurbish a hospital ward space at Queen’s Hospital in Burton on Trent to create a new Maternity Triage Unit.
Working within a live hospital environment adjacent to active ward space, the team will be working in a predominantly clear and stripped-out area, allowing works to get underway quickly.
Procured via the Procure Partnerships East Midlands Construction Framework under a Two-Stage Mini Competition Express.
Faraday Tower Demolition | University of Manchester | PP O’Connor
PP O’Connor has been appointed by the University of Manchester to demolish the existing 1960s Faraday Tower. Works will include asbestos removal and hazardous materials clearance, soft strip, and full hard demolition, leaving a cleared site ready for the university’s onward development plans.
