Black Capital Group, the holding company that powers Procure Partnerships Framework, has officially become a Certified B Corporation after achieving an overall B Impact Score of 104.6.The impact score is well above the 80-point threshold required for certification, which reflects Procure Partnerships Framework’s commitment to responsible business standards. The certification process reviewed the organisation’s entire structure, from governance and compliance, to how we support our people, the planet and our clients. The announcement comes at a time when social value continues to play an increasingly important role in public sector procurement. Procurement policy, such as PPN 002, has reinforced the need for organisations to move beyond compliance and demonstrate clear, measurable value through the contracts they deliver.Procure Partnerships Framework has already embedded this approach at framework level, by incorporating standards into its agreement, and measuring contractor performance throughout the project lifecycle. The latest Annual Social Value Report highlights £228m in total social value enabled through the framework, with projects delivering an average social value return of 56%; significantly above the framework’s 12% minimum social value add requirement. The report also highlights the wider impact enabled through the framework, including full-time jobs created, volunteering hours contributed, charitable donations, apprenticeships enabled and environmental initiatives delivered through their independent sustainability initiative, Project Green.
Faye Dolan, Framework Director of Procure Partnerships Framework, said:
“Achieving B Corp Certification is a major milestone for us and a proud moment for the team. It recognises the values that have shaped the framework from its inception, to deliver people-centred procurement services, to question how things are done and how they could be improved, but with the dedication to turn that thinking into genuine impact.”“The B Corp Certification simply evidences our dedication to driving social impact in the communities we serve, but more importantly, it challenges us to keep improving.”Procure Partnerships Framework supports public sector clients in embedding social value from the outset of a project, helping them set meaningful commitments, monitor delivery and evidence the long-term impact created for local communities.
Jack Neath, Social Value Advisor at Procure Partnerships Framework, said:
“The direction of travel in public procurement is clear: social value must be planned, measured and reported with greater clarity and accountability than ever before. At Procure Partnerships Framework, we support clients to do this from the outset, ensuring procurement creates benefits that are tangible, meaningful and rooted in local need.”“Being a Certified B Corporation strengthens this commitment. It shows that the principles we encourage across our Framework — transparency, accountability, responsible business and measurable impact — are also principles we are applying to our organisation too.”Procure Partnerships Framework, part of Black Capital Group, B Corp profile can be viewed here: https://www.bcorporation.net/en-us/find-a-b-corp/company/black-capital-group/More information about B Corp Certification can be found here: https://www.bcorporation.net/en-us/certification/
